Emily holds a Masters in Social Work from Smith College. She is passionate about holistic, interdisciplinary approaches to therapy and aims to combine her psychodynamic training with creative arts and somatic practices. Emily has experience working with children, adolescents, teenagers, adults, older adults, and families in school, community, and clinical settings. She cherishes play and spontaneity in therapeutic action. Emily is a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Sustainable Design. Prior to entering the mental health field, Emily worked as a sourdough bread baker, an organic vegetable farmer, a graphic designer, and non-profit director at a clubhouse for youth. Beyond her fervor for learning and integrating innovative healing modalities as well as maintaining her own fine arts practice, Emily geeks out on fruits, fasting, yoga, poetry, and insects.
