Expressive Arts Therapy Eating Disorder Recovery Group for Teens

For ages 14-19
11 Peekskill Road, Cold Spring
Fee is $40/session.
Many health plans accepted, including ACA medicaid plans. Sliding Scale options with proven financial need.
All participants must have completed an inpatient or IOP Eating Disorder treatment program. Exceptions will be considered.

For teens:
• who want support in their recovery process
• who want to build connections with others who share similar experiences
• who want to use creative interventions to explore who they are and who they want to be
• with a childhood trauma or family disruption

Group description: This ongoing, weekly Expressive Arts Therapy Group will use different creative therapies such as art, movement, music, drama, play and mindfulness to explore body image, self concept, identity, and to reinforce the use of adaptive coping strategies. Each group will include a brief check-in with group members, ample time for the creative process and an opportunity to process with the group.
