In this workshop participants will learn two group initiatives from the adventure based counseling field. The initiatives require problem solving and group participants to be physically engage, though various adaptions will explained. They will then be provided two art directives to debrief the three group initiatives. Learning about the adventure based counseling field will help group facilitators explore other modes to provide stimulating group sessions and also utilize art therapy as a debriefing tool.

- Learn the adventure flow model and how to utilize it in an art therapy format

Jane is a creative arts therapist and adventure based counselor. She facilitates various art and adventure groups, to all ages, to promote creativity, self awareness and remind participants of the importance of fun and relaxation. She has combined art therapy and adventure based counseling to provide an upbeat, self-learning and social-learning experience that encourages people to engage in positive challenges in order to better manage more difficult challenges.
