Accepting New Clients
Michelle is an educator, social worker, and therapist who grounds her work in the centrality of relationships as a vehicle for change. She works to build a process that focuses on your needs, and employs a variety of strategies to help you identify what is getting in your way, while introducing new tools to get past barriers and find fulfillment. Integrating talk therapy with various expressive techniques, Michelle creates a safe and open space to feel, be, and explore all parts of yourself. Michelle comes curious to learn from her clients. She has extensive experience with individual, group and family therapy, and especially enjoys working with youth and young adults who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer. She is inspired by how psychotherapy transforms lives, including her own.

“I strongly believe that we come by our challenges honestly. There is so much to become aware of that was determined when we were children. When we find the opportunity to be in psychotherapy, in a process devoted to our own health and wellness, we can find support to enhance our own agency and make decisions that support the direction we want to head in our lives.”

I love to watch people express themselves through sports. I love the New York Liberty and I have been a fan since I was a young adult in New York. I love to watch the games, watch strong empowered women, and also watch women working together as a team. This is much like a working psychotherapy relationship, we are working as a team to find ways for you to build strength, make plays (changes) and ultimately lead the life you want to live.
