Accepting New Clients
Yenny enjoys working with all ages. Her working style is relational, and she strives to provide a space where clients have an active partner in learning about themselves. Yenny believes in her clients’ right to determine their own experiences and make their own choices. She is flexible, able to connect with humor and curiosity, and without judgment. When needed she can also be pointed and exacting, and offers clear insights that clients may not have thought about. As a natural listener, she always offers space for clients to provide feedback so she knows what works best for them. When she sees her clients gaining deeper realizations about their experience, and acquiring and using coping skills, she feels that the therapeutic process is working.

“As a therapist who also has experienced anxiety and depression, it is gratifying for me to support others who are going through a similar experience.”

Something that matters to me

I am really passionate about my work and I take what I do very seriously. I feel fulfilled when I’m able to provide the support and tools that my clients need. I want my clients to feel at ease and comfortable so they can fully access what they need to work on.  I am constantly learning from my clients and use that insight to inform my practice. I believe only the client can know whether therapy is working for them, and I trust them to tell me.
