Katie is an art therapist with nearly 20 years’ experience helping individual clients and families overcome personal and relational challenges. Her warmth and humor reveal her belief that positive change occurs through relationship. With both an undergraduate and graduate degree in art therapy (Bowling Green State University and Long Island University, respectively), Katie feels passionate about the power of creativity to help initiate fresh awareness and personal growth. Katie has worked with a variety of inpatient and outpatient populations in schools, hospitals, residential facilities, settlement houses, camps and after-school programs. She has specialized training in childhood trauma and grief work. Katie is interested in neurobiology and its impact on mental health, relationships and creativity.
