Art Therapist
Brooklyn studio
Molly received her Master of Arts in Art Therapy from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Molly uses a strengths-based approach to therapy, deeply believes in her client’s abilities to access their own creativity and resources, and feels that it is a great privilege to do such essential work. She has worked with many populations, including children and families in the oncology unit of a public hospital and in an alternative-to prison program for people with AIDS, mental health and substance abuse issues. She also taught art therapy at a small Italian university and co-facilitated an artisan group with refugees and asylum seekers in Rome, Italy where she lived for many years.
